Mon 16th May 2022 - Introducing Trio's DX5 multi-axis AC servo drive
The Trio
DX5 is designed to work seamlessly with Trio's controllers and is fully integrated into Trio’s application development tool, Motion Perfect. It comes in power ratings from 400W to 750W. Matched with the
MXL motors it offers a high-speed, high-precision machine solution.
With a focus on ease of use, the
DX5 minimises setup time allowing you to focus on your application.

The new servo drive is cost effective for machine builders who need multi-axis EtherCAT performance control. A zero-stacking gap and compact dimensions also enable a small footprint.
DX5 is aimed at OEMs designing machines for applications such as laser, plasma, or water cutting, between two and 16 axes. The multi-axis drive is also intended for packaging machines with lower power requirements, including form fill seal, and labelling applications.
DX5's motion performance characteristics enable high speed and precision control with optimised multi-axis coordination across the machine, providing increased throughput with maximum production quality.
